Time to get hyped for the latest music hitting the film screens by Scott Thomas of Ringside. On February 20, 2015, Scott’s most recent music and film project collaboration will be heard in MGM Studios’ comedy sequel Hot Tub Time Machine 2.

Scott Thomas, A career spanning 2 decades, is trailblazing as a fully independent artist. Based in Los Angeles, he’s a multiplatinum singer, songwriter, producer, and composer who signed his first recording deal at the age of 18. Scott Thomas of the internationally celebrated group, Ringside, ranks high in the music world (in my opinion). Having appeared on numerous daily talk shows, Ellen DeGeneres declared Ringside as her favorite band (… and who doesn’t love her!?).

Scott Thomas co-founded Ringside with his childhood friend and beat maker Balthazar Getty. He produced smash hit records such as ‘Tired of Being Sorry’, ‘Struggle’, and ‘Criminal’ which Scott penned himself as well as “Lost Days” (Featuring Ben Harper), “Black Valentine” by Scott Thomas Band from the Elektra Records release “California”. Definitely looking forward to hearing the latest sounds he has come up with.

As a passionate songwriter, Scott performs and produces smash hit records. He has become an inspiration to many aspiring singers, including myself. His style is significant and not always genre specific. Each record album has a different flare, blending classic rock with alternative, Americana or even electronic pop.

Scott Thomas has also done collaborations with Dr. Dre, Talib Kweli, and Ben Harper, which I love. He’s more than a singer, poet, storyteller and producer. His passion transcends beyond music, which is shown through his lyrics. He gives back to the community and advocates on prevalent civil right issues to help make the world a better place.

Can’t wait to see the latest sequel of the Hot Tub Time Machine. Definitely anticipating a lot of quirky awesome time travel moments. Totally daring myself not to laugh! … Joking, I can’t wait to hear the latest music and laugh my brains out.
