Spread The Volume J Salinas NYFW 2016

Posted March 3, 2016 by LA Scene in Fashion

Inspired by the concept of a good hair day was J Salinas inspiration (what a great hair theme!) Jorge Salinas’ look focused on the individuality of each girl. “For the girls with thin hair, I just built up the volume and the texture. For the girls with curly hair I just loosened up the curls so you have this natural wave… Letting the hair dry very naturally,” Romina Manenti lead stylist for Rene Furterer shares.

Manenti uses Rene Furterer Vegetal Styling texture spray on the top of the models hair for a bit of thickness but a solid texture with a little movement. “We want our girls to be as if she’s here working in New York, but every car that passes by doesn’t blow up her hair. It still has this statement.”

What about trends for next season? “We’re gonna spread the volume all over the place. Volume is back! Volume deserves to be back!”, Manenti gushes. J. Salinas is all about the volume.
